The phrase time of grace has been included again in this message as it was also a few days ago in the message Ivan received. Here is a message from 2008 that talks about the time of grace:
“Dear children! In this time of grace, when God has permitted me to be with you, little children, I call you anew to conversion. Work on the salvation of the world in a special way while I am with you. God is merciful and gives special graces, therefore, seek them through prayer. I am with you and do not leave you alone. Thank you for having responded to my call. ”

and this one from Oct. 25, 2006 “Dear children! Today the Lord permitted me to tell you again that you live in a time of grace. You are not conscious, little children, that God is giving you a great opportunity to convert and to live in peace and love. You are so blind and attached to earthly things and think of earthly life. God sent me to lead you toward eternal life. I, little children, am not tired, although I see that your hearts are heavy and tired for everything that is a grace and a gift. Thank you for having responded to my call. ”

Is there a greater grace for any soul than life itself and the promise of eternal life in Paradise?

Only this week Pope Francis spoke about Paradise:

“Paradise is not a fairy tale or an enchanted garden... Paradise is the embrace of God, infinite love, and we enter thanks to Jesus who died on the cross for us... Wherever Jesus is, there is mercy and happiness; without him, it is cold and dark... He wants to lead us to the most beautiful place in existence, and he wants to bring us there with the little or immense good that has been in our life, because nothing is lost in that which he has already redeemed.”

Those who have been blessed to go on pilgrimage to Medjugorje will know that it is a special “fountain of grace” where pilgrims encounter the love of God that changes and resurrects the lives of so many.

But going to or accepting the Medjugorje phenomenon isn’t a condition for entering Paradise...

The ‘Good Thief’ on his cross would confirm this.

I like it! Maybe you wrote that song in 2009 because Our Lady mentioned time of grace 6 times in Her messages in 2008(?) (Jan. 25, Feb. 25, April 2, May 25, Sept. 25, and Nov. 25) Time of grace has certainly been on my mind for a long long time!

No, it’s one of a number of lyrics I wrote over a two-year period.

I can’t get my head around one isolated period as being ‘the’ time of grace. As I mentioned in a previous post I consider life itself as a time of grace, even more so now as I am in my twilight years.

I can understand that there are times if people’s lives when special graces are given, the birth of a child, marriage etc, even at times of the death of a friend or relative when we are given the strength of special grace to cope with separation, even in sickness. That, too, is a special grace. Ask Vicka.

For those unable to get to Medjugorje for whatever reason, then how does the special grace reach them? Messages? People return from there all fired up wanting to change the world, their friends and families, but the special grace doesn’t always last and not everyone is open to receiving graces from Medjugorje.

But God finds a way of dispensing his graces. Every day is a grace-filled day for the world. Non-believers can receive the grace of children, sunshine, rain and even pain. No soul is excluded from the grace of God, but not everyone is full of grace. Yes, every day, our whole lives, is a time of grace be it at Medjugorje or any other location on God’s planet.

It’s not without reason that we pray at Mass: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts. Heaven AND EARTH are FULL of your glory!”

The Evening in Vienna was the 10th annual evening of prayer for peace held at Saint Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. It was held October 24, 2017 and Cardinal Christopher Schonborn and Cardinal Ernest Simoni were in attendance. The event was videotaped and is available on the Mary TV website http://marytv.tv/?page_id=2620 At about the 1 hour 6 min. mark, the visionary Marija gave her testimony until about 1 hour 30 min. Cardinal Ernest Simoni witnessed from 1 hour 36 min. to 1 hour 53 min. Following them, the rosary was prayed by all in attendance. Marija had her apparition from the 2 hour 42 min mark until the 2 hour 44 min mark. The Holy Mass was celebrated by Cardinal Schonborn and following that there was Eucharistic Adoration.

I have tried to transcribe the talk by Marija. This talk was given by Marija and translated into German by a priest who received his vocation in Medjugorje. The priest's words were then translated from German into English by the female translator whose voice you can hear on the video. So note well that this transcript is the result of two translations from the original voice.

Prior to Marija's talk, the choir played a hymn emphasizing peace and repeatedly sang "Shalom." So when Marija began, her first word was Shalom!

She began: I wanted to ask somebody else to translate my speech, but I picked someone who got his vocation in Medjugorje. As we have heard Shalom, we wanted to dance to the music, but rather than dance, let us talk about peace.
It is a great joy to be here with you because today, in this year, we are celebrating the 10th meeting here in the Cathedral and we are praying for peace. As Our Lady has appeared from the beginning when Our Lady has invited us and introduced Herself as the Queen of Peace. She has invited us to work for peace. On the third day of the apparitions, Our Lady appeared with a cross behind Her and She said, 'Peace. Peace. Peace. Peace must reign between God and men, among all men, and peace in the world.' That was the first message that Our Lady gave. Today we can feel in our hearts how important peace is. That is the biggest treasure that mankind can have...the peace within our hearts. That is why Our Lady has said, 'God has allowed me to be among you: To invite you, to love you, and to instruct you on the path to peace. '
Our Lady started to guide the parish of (Saint James) of Medjugorje through the messages that She was giving every Thursday to the parish. Then Our Lady started to guide prayer groups. Our Lady has said that families can be prayer groups. Our Lady said to read the Holy Scripture every day, to pray the rosary every day. Without saying it to us, we (visionaries) knew that the rosary is the dearest prayer to Our Lady. Our Lady said that the rosary is the strongest weapon against satan.
Today we met with Cardinal Ernesto who will give his testimony, as well. It is a great joy to be here with you, but also because of him. Because Cardinal has said that the rosary has saved his life in his most difficult times. Also we can say that those are the precious moments (the difficult moments are precious ones). At the beginning of the apparitions, we were small, we were living under Communism and the Mother of God was telling us, 'Pray. Pray. Pray' and we have done what She asked of us and we survived.
In the most difficult times, we have lived the joy of Our Lady and our faith was stronger every day. There are still difficulties today. We have problems, illnesses, but when we have prayer, when we have God, everything else takes second place. As Our Lady said, 'Our goal is heaven- the eternal life.' If you think about heaven, everything else is not important. When we think about Our Lady, angels, and all the Saints; we can already feel the joy within our hearts. Our heart is moving towards heaven. The Mother of God said to us, 'Without God, there is no future and no eternal life.'

part 2 of the talk

Through the messages that Our Lady is giving out to us, She is inviting us to get closer to God and to prayer, and then we will have peace. The peace will reign within your hearts. Our Lady is saying that in these difficult times, God has allowed me to be with you. Our Lady IS with us. When we have God and Our Lady with us, then who can be against us? Just thinking about that, there is already joy in our hearts.
What is Our Lady inviting us to? In the first days of the apparitions when we climbed the apparition hill, Our Lady said to us, 'Go to the fields close to your homes, pray, and I will come. ' And She came. She appeared to us. We have prayed the rosary. Our Lady was very joyful because we have the made the intention of the rosary for Our Lady's Intentions. Our Lady was so joyful that She invited us to touch Her. Really what She wants is to take all of us with Her into heaven. But then I asked Our Lady, "How is it possible that we can touch you? Okay, we can see you, but what about those that cannot see you?" Then Our Lady said to us, 'Take their hands and lead their hands to touch me.' And we did it. Everybody felt the presence of Our Lady. Some felt cold. Some fragrance, electricity and different ways that people experienced, but all those people thought mainly that Our Lady is there with us. And then as we, who could see Our Lady, we noticed that as people touched the dress of Our Lady, we could see that Our Lady's dress was becoming dirty. Then we started to cry and I asked Our Lady, 'Why is your dress getting dirtier everytime somebody touches you?' Then Our Lady said, 'That is because of the sins.' Our Lady said to us to go to a church, to a priest for confession. We all went because none of us watned to leave stains on Our Lady's dress. Today Medjugorje is the biggest confessional in the world! Four days ago, I met a priest, a Spanish priest who is 65 years old. He was ready to hear confessions in the Spanish language. He said, 'I have a lot of experience hearing confession because I'm 65 years old.' Then he said to me with tears in his eyes, 'My heart is so moved by the confessions that I have heard (in Medjugorje) -- those deep confessions. All the pilgrims have decided to convert and to get closer to God. Then I bless the pilgrim and believe that , for this person, a new life will start.'
The same is true for us here today: us, we that are here celebrating the peace. From today on, we can become even bigger instruments of Our Lady. As instruments to achieve peace through our testimonies, through our prayer, through our examples, we can convert many people that we meet. The same as the Apostles did. They were known as Christians because of their love and because they shared.
Today, this year, we are celebrating the 100 years of Our Lady's apparitions in Fatima. That is another celebration! Only once did Our Lady speak about another apparition other than Medjugorje and what Our Lady said is that whatever She has started in Fatima, She will finish in Medjugorje. What did Our Lady say in Fatima? Our Lady said, 'Pray for all those who do not pray. Pray for all those that are not adoring God.' In Medjugorje give witness for all those that are not able to give witness. Our Lady is inviting us to spend as much time as we can before the Blessed Sacrament. To be there, in front of the Blessed Sacrament is a blessing for our lives. Because when someone loves, they speak about love. When you love God, you speak about God. When you love someone, you tell others about them and so on... If you are really in love with God, then you will become His witnesses. This is what the Saints did. They bore witness, gave witness and testimony. Two days ago (October 22nd) we celebrated the feast day of Saint John Paul II. The way St. John Paul II spoke of Our Lady showed how much love that he had for Our Lady. So many times Pope John Paul II sent us visionaries rosary beads that we used. And then Benedict was holy Father, Pope Benedict was for us all good and theological. He taught us sin is sin and wholeness is wholeness. He taught us to take the true path as Our Lady has said, 'Live the Commandments of God. Love your neighbor, don't take what doesn't belong to you, and so on.' As we can see, there are not so many people that convert. But then I say, 'No, it's not true because it is easier to hear a tree that falls than a tree that grows.' The tree that grows with its branches so high give witness to others. We should witness with our lives. Our Lady said, 'It doesn't matter who you are or what skin color you have, you are invited to give witness of your faith.'
He (Cardinal Ernesto Simoni) comes from Albania and he told us about Muslims. He said to the Muslims, 'You pray in your way and I will pray for you. I am blessing you and I will pray for you.' Then they came back and said that they had received grace. Work for the unity, for peace because peace is the biggest treasure for mankind and we know that satan all the time is trying to start a war here or there. But the most beautiful thing is when a man kneels down with a rosary in his hands because the rosary beads are a stronger weapon than a nuclear bomb. We know that, and we believe that, and that is why we pray!
As Our Lady said, 'God has allowed me to be among you, and we would like to thank Our Lady for Her presence in Medjugorje. She is still with us. We would like to say thank you to Our Lady for being with us, and to thank Her for not leaving us. She has allowed us to be close to Her and that She allowed us to fall in love with Her and that She brought us to Her Son because She has the most love for Her Son. She always speaks about Her Son. She brings us Jesus. She is carrying Him and that is what we will do as well (they were going to have the Eucharist at Mass after the recitation of the rosary). When we all love the Son; at that point the world changes and then peace will reign. And I believe that this year the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph. Our Lady said to us that She will not leave us alone. She is giving us the messages. During the apparition, Our Lady prays. Our Lady prayed in Her mother language -- in Her own Aramaic language and I didn't understand anything. And as we couldn't understand, She said, 'Do not forget that I am your Mother and that I love you.' We shouldn't forget that She is the Mother and that She loves us. And let us pray that those who are away from God and lost in sin that She will bring us all to Her Son. And let it be so. Amen.
Finally I have found this priest (the translator for Marija to translate into German) that received his vocation in Medjugorje and I would like to thank this priest for translating me. I hope that the message of Our Lady will be even stronger because it was translated by a priest!

Father Livio of Radio Maria interviewed Marija about the message of October 25, 2017

Marija: I was in Vienna (Oct. 24th) where it was cold while in Medjugorje there was warm, I didn't bring warm enough clothes and I became sick with the flu. However, the evening of prayer in Vienna was a beautiful experience. We prayed like every year. We celebrated the tenth year of prayer for peace in the Vienna Cathedral with two cardinals, one bishop and twenty priests. Like every year the church was full, full. Very beautifull! Every time you go there is immense joy.

P. Livio: So you have had the appearance of Our Lady.

Marija: Yes. It was very beautiful: they pray for nine days with all prayer groups, so they see the fruits of Medjugorje; and normally at the ninth day some of us will participate. This year it was touching me.

P. Livio: Our Lady reminded us in the message that next week there will be the feast of all saints and also the commemoration of all the dead when the Church prays for all souls of purgatory. I would like you to tell the testimony of the experience you have had as you saw Heaven, purgatory and hell. In Fatima, the Madonna has shown the three Fatima children hell, but to you She has shown purgatory and Heaven.

Marija: It's true. Already in the early days of the apparitions, Our Lady told us that Paradise, purgatory, and hell exist. Then She physically carried Jakov and Vicka to these places. Instead we saw them as looking out of a window. Paradise is like a great space with so many people dressed in pastel-colored roman tunics who were in a state of ecstasy, joy, gratitude, and prayer. Our Lady told us that people have gone to Paradise because they have accepted the will of God throughout their lives and now they know more and more God and His will. Showing us purgatory, Madonna said that the people who were there were indecisive: one moment they believed, then did not believe. We have seen it as a fog, clouds, and we heard cries, voices asking for our prayers. Now these people deeply believe in God and their suffering is more spiritual because they want to go to God, but they can not. Our Lady recommended that we pray for the souls of purgatory, offer sacred sacrifices and Masses, so that they can soon reach God. Then we saw the hell where there was fire and people came into this fire and became beasts . Our Lady said that God gave us freedom and so some chose evil, they lived in sin and therefore went to hell. Our Lady said that we can no longer do anything for them, but we have to pray for sinners to convert as long as they are alive, because later it will be too late.

P. Livio: Then it is not true that hell is empty.

Marija: No, that's not true. In fact, Jakov and Vicka saw many people who were in hell.

P. Livio: Our Lady, in a message of the first months of the apparitions, said that the greatest number of people who die go to purgatory, a big number goes to hell and only a small number goes directly to Paradise.

Marija: We do not know how many. We know that God is mercy and love, but He can not force our freedom. For this reason Our Lady is asking through Mirjana every second of the month, as in Fatima, to pray for all those who do not pray, love and not worship.** She says, "Pray for all those who are far away, those who have not known God's love."

**The Fatima prayer of reparation taught by the angel to Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco is:
My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee! I beg pardon for all those that do not believe, do not adore, do not trust and do not love Thee.

P. Livio: Instead, Vicka and Jakov were carried with their body in Paradise, purgatory and hell, for about 20 minutes.

Marija: Yes. They were in Jakov's house and there was also Jacov's mom. Of this we always joke with Jakov, because when Our Lady said She would carry them, Jakov thought that he would die and said to the Madonna: "Get Vicka, because in her family, they have 8 children, while I am a single son." At that time Jacov was small, just 10 years old and yet he thought of his Mother's suffering. Instead Madonna took them and then told them to testify to everyone that in the beyond there is another life, because so many do not believe.

P. Livio: Our Lady said that it is not God who sends to hell, but that we are the ones we want to go.

Marija: It's true. So many people are ostracized in evil and live in sin. They should listen to the Madonna who also says in this message: "The saints are a model and an exhortation to holiness." Instead, many people do not follow these examples, but follow bad examples and become a curse. Our Lady calls us instead to be a blessing to others, calling us to bless.

P. Livio: What is the saint you like most?

Marija: My favorite saint, since youth, is San Domenico Savio. Then the Franciscan saints; I am a Franciscan tertiary because in the parish of Medjugorje there are the friars. And then a long array of saints until the last one touching our heart and we celebrated a few days ago (October 22): John Paul II, the Pope of our youth ... You are in my prayers, in my heart, in a special way these days of prayer to the saints. I ask many people who are in trouble, people sick in bed, to join this prayer and to offer their sacrifices to Jesus and to Our Lady. Pray for their intentions, as you yourself ask. Especially in these halloween days, pray and call on the saints, while the world is leading us to evil spirits. That the saints really, as Our Lady says, are our models. We can also be more and more holy as you want. Let us pray for our conversion, for the conversion of the world, especially in this centenary year of Fatima's apparitions so that we can really be, as the Madonna says, her extended hands in the world.
