If my Lord introduced me to someone, what would He have to say?

Would He be so proud and brag on me or reluctantly turn away?
This is a question I ponder as I travel along every day.

If my Lord introduced me to someone, what would He have to say?

Would He say, "Here's a strong, faithful servant who honors and worships My name.
He lives his life in My service, his actions My mercy proclaim.
He tells of redemption at Calvary, he smiles as he speaks about Grace..."

If my Lord introduced me to someone, what would He have to say?

Could He say, "He is faithful and honest, My shield and banner he waves.
He is never too busy to witness, or to lift My name in praise."
Does He know without doubt I'm on His side? Do my actions forgiveness portray?

If my Lord introduced me to someone, what would He have to say?

Would He speak about my selfish giving, the tithes that I never would pay?
Would He know deep within of my most hidden sin: my refusal His will to obey?
Would my pride and resentment and anger deny His power to save?

If my Lord introduced me to someone, what would He have to say?

Could He smile as He welcomed me closer; would He motion for others to come
And join us in triumphant welcome as He told of the work I had done?
Would He thank me for showing compassion, could He boldly acknowledge my name?

If my Lord introduced me to someone, what would He have to say?
