Anna welcome to the forum! Not from Ireland, but feel free to hop over to the Miscellaneous section and join us for a cup of coffee. I'm sure Mamamary wouldn't mind putting on the kettle if you'd prefer a cup of tea. :D

Being half Irish meself, may I humbly suggest the use of the larger tea bags and a jumbo size prewarmed pot

May you all be safely delivered to Heaven half an hour before the divil knows you're dead.
ps. They serve the best coffee and tea there.

Peace and Love.

Not from irleand but I wish I could be. I do however have a bit of the Kelly bloodline in the family tree. Greetings from Upper Michigan or I refer to them as, the Highlands of Michigan. But that because , like Scotland we are mostly controlled by someone below us who barely notices we are here.
welcome to the forum. I know you'll like the stuff here.

Psst. I do have some Guinness in the fridge if you get sick of the tea. Or Irn Bru if you don't drink beer.

Karen,

I don't know if you know about the Youth 2000 Summer Festival at Clonmacnois in Co. Offaly? Happening this year from 4th to 7th August 2011. I was there last year. Excellent festival. Just for ages between 16 and 35. But they had over 1000 young people there for the 4 days. There is 24 hour adoration, daily mass, rosary, workshops, talks, and on the Saturday night there is such a moving reconcilliation/healing service where 60 priests line up to hear confessions and over 1000 youth are having confessions heard. Priests keep going to all hours of the early morning until everyone who wishes to go to confession have had it. But throughout the weekend there is plenty of fun, music, games, etc too. Really good. International speakers from around the world. Might be of interest to you.

Hi Anna
I am from Ireland, I love to be your friend, I am a handmaid in knock for last few years, and were in Medjugorje twice, I were in Lourdes once. I am a student in college doing Art. I put my religion into my Art, it is only reason I do Art, but some times get shunned for that. I believe in God so it is worth it, as only gives me a stronger character. I understand how in society people do not talk about their faith, but I do in my Art. I do in society also when opportunity is their. Artist call it purity well that is close to a degree. They base purity on the human form though, then it is a challenge. I always will include the Spirit in my work, through Faith, Love and understanding. I love to make time to pray and go to the church. Saints are great to help inspire the Spirit, especially in the Church. Inspiration through creativity is natural through Faith, but when we are given Artists to be inspired through, I look for where their art inspires my Faith. I am never looking for an idea it is always their before hand. That is funny because it always has me one step ahead of the posse. Well the odd time I will be stuck but rarely.

Hi Dunowen70
How are you?

Hiya to all,
Stumbled across this forum by chance. Actually I was looking for info on "The Triumph" dvd. And the "Queen of Peace" doc. Namely how to get hold of the DVDs for friends and family. Specially those who don't or won't read books ...
Still no wiser, but was pleased to discover this forum, which does not appear to take itself TOO seriously.
Not from Ireland, but a quarter Irish, both grand parents. .. In UK.
Grand to know cups of tea are offered!
Even though in this part of the country (northumberland) we 'mash' the tea. Not 'brew'
Well, I never thought I'd end up on a Medj forum, talking bout grand cuppsa tea ...hehe. But there we are. The ways of God are strange.
God bless you all
