October 24-26, 2003 - 14th Annual Medjugorje Peace Conference at the Bren Events Center on the campus of the University of California at Irvine. A retreat-like week-end that includes daily rosary and Eucharistic Liturgy; Saturday morning penance service with confessions heard outside on the lawn; Saturday, Medjugorje Holy Hour in the arena; Saturday evening, a Eucharistic Healing Service in the arena. Speakers include Bishop Tod Brown (Orange, CA Diocese), Fr. Timothy Deeter (Australia), Fr. Joseph Galic, OFM (a Croatian priest ), Msgr. James Lisante (NY), Msgr. Matthew Malnar (retired Air Force Chaplain), Deacon Henry Libersat (FL), Fr. Joseph Raeke (MA), Matthew Kelly (Australia) and Snjezana Zovko (Medjugorje). Testimonies of spiritual/physical healing will be offered by Joan Ulicny (PA), Dobrila Anic and Desanka Jelavic (Medjugorje), Thomas Rutkoski (Gospa Missions in PA), David Parkes and son, Ken (Ireland). David and Ken will also be in concert on Sunday morning. Barbara Ryan (FL) will be Mistress of Ceremonies. Fr. Patrick Crowley, SS, CC (CA) is spiritual director.
