and praying was removed from all
bible versions.
You can find a transliteration from
original-greek to english here.
It will say that the bad demons
can only be overcome with praying
and fasting.

Now check your NIV, or your NRSVCE
your Jerusalem bible.
Or just open nearly every bible that
was translated after 1960.



Prayer in combination with fasting
is shown in some books in the NT
as seen in the YLT version.
Matthew 17:21
and this kind doth not go forth
except in prayer and fasting.'

Mark 9:29
And he said to them, `This kind is
able to come forth with nothing
except with prayer and fasting.'

Note:In most versions the mark
9:29 passage fasting is removed.
