Today, the parish of Medjugorje celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi.
The Feast of Corpus Christi, or, in Latin, Dies Sanctissimi Corporis et Sanguinis Domini Iesu Christi (which means “Body of Christ”) is a celebrates the real presence of the body and blood of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
Many Catholics in European countries, including Bosnia-Herzegovina where Medjugorje is located, take part in Corpus Christi celebrations. Following the evening Mass, the parish of Medjugorje organizes a procession through the entire village.
Stella Mar Films used a drone to record parts of the procession. Our video is accompany by the song Apparition Hill by Michael Nolan, which he originally wrote for our documentary about Medjugorje, also called Apparition Hill.
