Coronavirus Confirmed in Medjugorje

MOTHER’S VILLAGE

After confirming that the three nuns working in the Mother’s Village Medjugorje – Bijakovici, residing in the monastery in Miletina, were positive for the coronavirus, the Director immediately informed (hygienically and in writing) the Hygienic-Epidemiological Service of the Citluk Health Center. All necessary and prescribed measures have been taken in cooperation with epidemiologists and on their advice and orders.

Franciscans in service in the parish of Medjugorje

The Franciscan, who is serving as a priest of the nuns, residing in Miletina, and another confessor in Medjugorje, has been confirmed with the coronavirus.

In accordance with the regulation of epidemiologists, all those who need to be isolated are instructed in isolation and will strictly adhere to it. They became ill under the supervision of medical staff. All procedures are coordinated in consultation with civilian authorities and medical personnel.

The Franciscan Province of Herzegovina, in agreement with the Apostolic Visitor, will provide pastoral care for the parish and all that is necessary to function in these conditions. Parishioners should contact the parish office by phone for all their pastoral needs.

This is credible and verified information. We all ask that they follow the instructions of the civilian authorities seriously and do not cause unnecessary panic.

We wish our friars, sisters and all the sick people healing and we recommend them, with the intercession of the Queen of Peace, in prayer.

Peace and good!

  8. In September 17, 2010 a group of 62 brothers and sisters from Puerto Rico went to visit Medjugorje. It was a beautiful experience that I’m sure no one in the group will forget , we stayed for 15 days peace and grace and unforgettable experiences among all of that group. I can’t wait to return but now my wife and are retired and with limited resources, but I’m surenthat our Great Lady, Our Mother will help us get there the same way su got us there the first time. We for all and since we got back I have prayed the The rosary for peace every nite before going to sleep in honor of Our Lady Queen of Peace, may you all keep receiving her blessings and peace for ever. God bless you all and never forget to pray and thank Our Lady, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ every apparition and her wise words to us and the world. May we have the blessings of receiving more messages from our Lady and pray that she continues to help us in the special way that She has done it for so many years since 1981. May her Peace and love be with all around the world today and all ways.
